Thumbs up Let me write this down, Lexus product onslaught

AS if they didn't just sell 302,000 cars,
GS 300/430 only 1 year old
IS 250/350 only 4 months old
RX 350 (ads in mags already) this spring
RX 400h less than 1 year old
ES 350, all new coming this fall
LS 460 coming in fall
IS convert coming next spring

Not to mention the concepts and rumors flying around. Wow

Hopefully, the LF-A concept emerges as a production car soon...

I think except for the LF-X which really has nothing to do with the real LF concepts <used to be the HPX and they just changed the name...>, basically every one of the LF concepts have made it to production so far... the LF-A's interior is pretty much production ready so I wouldn't be surprised to see it out within this year <crossing fingers >

With so many big #'s behind them, Lexus has room at the top for some big guns...to take on the top class cars from Benz, BMW, etc.

Bring on a whole 'top tier' lineup of LS 600hs, LF-As, LF-A Spyders...who knows what else.

Lexus needs to cap their prices. As they get further up the line of super cars, hybrids that smoke NA's, and even more technology than ever before, I would like to see them put a price cap into perspective so they do not hurt themselves by building cars that cost what P-cars cost because given the choice I am sorry but I'll be hanging out of a Turbo 911 any day for the same money and that's just reality for my particular style.

Agreed, Lexus needs to keep their price advantage at every level...perhaps playing at the $100,000+ level with $90,000 MSRP + options.

LOL

More seriously, I think Lexus should up the performance quotient to complete the 'passion' and they can then justify charging equally. However, they should keep offering base line models which cost less.

this is true, if anything they should make totally new models and price them over 100k and leave the existings models in the price range that they are in now

^^^
That's what I'm hoping, it gives the Lexus lineup a more upscale image immediately, and yet bourgeoisie...attainable at the 'lower' end.

mike we have talked about this before, and yes, while this is one bold and "risky" move by lexus, they are being very aggressive and they are hitting hard on other competitors imho. it's crazy for a company to revise the whole lineup in a matter of 2, 3 yrs, i don't think i saw that in other brands.

i think ritsa after the ls launch end of this yr, they will be changing all suv and then the sc soon.

can't wait, this is so exciting. and it's kinda sad too, seeing that all new cars getting better and btter

Default One child left out !! .. poor LX470 all forgotten?

Lexus has redesigned all their models....except one ..and they are being tight lipped about it....
...what about the redesigned LX470???

The high-end SUV market (EScalade, Navigator, etc) ...is the last strong hold of the american market ..... go get'em Lexus ...show them what a high quality, powerful, and luxuorius SUV you can make.

yeah it's all just rumored, but there are "news" about new JX series replacing the lx, using sequoia platform. i think that's good, coz' with the GX here already, they need a bigger one
