The only thing that reminds me of the three about these pictures is how the taillights sit rather high on the back end of the car. Other than that, I don't really see anything different...

I like it a lot!

I want to trade my GS for that powerful 3.5L, 300HP IS.

Dual exhausts?

I guess the I6 is gone.

Yeah - I like it even if it does look kinda like a droopy Mazda3 ...

(LOL - I think everything looks like a Mazda3 these days) ...

But at any rate - my intuition tells me that this will be anything but the Mazda3 when it comes to build-quality (have any of you actually spent time with a Mazda3 ?? It's alright for the money - but not fantastic), power, and refinement.

- overall - it's better than I expected.

Not bad, the best rendition of the next IS sedan I've seen so far.

The only thing I am not crazy about is the taillights. They remind me of the Infiniti FX.

Thumbs up

If that's the new IS, I'd buy it, as long as it comes w/ the dual exhaust & 18's or bigger. I also hope Lexus will make the interior more posh than the current car. I do miss my '01 IS' performance!

Come on guys, it's no Mazda 3. I think it looks excellent although a couple of changes might be welcomed. Taillights good be tweaked (more originality and creativity). The car seems a bit too small
in these pics, could be stretched. BTW, These images look like photos of an actual car. Pretty sick if thats CG.

Honestly, I think that could be a real car. Yes that Lexus symbol looks photochopped, but looking at some of the details like how you can see the discs through the weel in the first shot, the writing on the sides of the tires, and how all the shadows and lighting are perfect, seems too detailed to be photochopped. Also, there's some sort of grainy looking texture to the picture which could just be from scanning, but how would you get such a texture on the WHOLE picture in photoshop? The taillights also look rather "real" to have been photoshopped. I dunno...
