CD Changer Replacement
I want to replace the GS300 Lexus CD Changer for one that decodes MP3. Alpine makes an MP3 CD Changer (.Alpine CHA-S634) that sells for $299.00 on Crutchfield but $215.00 on eBay. The Lexus 6-disc CD Changers are selling as high as $275.00 on eBay.

I would like to sell my changer and install the Alpine. Does anyone know if there are any proprietary connections? Or is it as simple as swapping out a hard drive?

The Lexus CD changer is proprietary and will not allow you to connect an aftermarket CD changer without come type of adapter. Check out blitzsafe or autotoys to see if they have an adapter for your setup.
