2016 IS 200T Radio and Screen Not Working
Hi All,
New here; I hope this is the best place/forum for advice on this. I have searched the forums and found several similar issues, but they all seem to be on older models.
A couple of evenings ago, when starting the car, the nav / computer screen was black, and the radio didn't work. AC and everything else work totally fine. This happened out of nowhere; there were no issues or battery drain/replacement prior. I have attempted to hold down the volume/power button for 15+ seconds multiple times. I have checked every fuse in the driver's side box and 2 engine boxes. I have disconnected the battery for 3+ hours and attempted to power on the car by only pushing the start button once with my foot off the brake. Once after the battery reset, a very low volume of static came out of the speakers, which I could turn on and off by pressing the radio power button. This went away after starting the car and would not come back; the power button was then totally unresponsive. The backup camera works fine and turns the screen on as it should only with that. No Lexus logo shows up on the nav screen when starting the car or powering on without starting. All buttons and the large selector dial for the computer are totally unresponsive.
Hope anyone has advice or has come across this with a 2016 or newer. I am curious if it could be a bad relay or if there is anything else I can try before going to the dealer. Thanks for the help!
