Cd Changer Options sc300
The other day I took out the stock cd changer in my 1994 Sc300. I was going to put dyno-mat on the outside so that it might stop skipping....anyway to make a long story short, I didnt do anyhting to it, so i just put it back in the car. I didnt changer or touch a thing; however now it wont work at all. It wont load the cartridge or play CDS.
Rather than bother with fixing or getting a new one, I just want to get an aftermarket one so that it will not skip with the sub in the trunk (somthing with esp)
I was just wondering what type of cd changer works with our car? I was looking for something under $150 new, I dont mind a 6 disc changer. I found some decent alpine ones but they are RF FM modulated...does this mean that the sound quality will be sacraficed? I dont want to get a FM changer and end up having ****ty sound quality. Please let me know if this choice wil be ok, or if you have any other suggestions that will work with the car for hopefully under $150-$200 new.
Thanks
Tom
