pics of my headunit!!!
3) this is a motorized retractible radio-the screen can be tilted/adjusted once folded out to your liking..and folds away like those alpine 7" monitors!

4) that plastic piece underneath the radio is just a temporary fill in-until the other unit(harddrive) gets here...scheduled arrrival was july 2003,but was pushed back...

Same prob with the stock CD changer - How did you get that single din Alpine to fit? It's the same headunit that I want, but I was told there isn't an adapter kit for it. HOOK ME UP!!
well i didn't do the installation myself, but the radio looks real easy to put in once you get the old one out of the mount it sits in. it screws right into the existing mount but once complete-you will have a space about the size of a single din leftover. a piece of plastic was cut and formed(temporarily) to cover that space.it matches the existing plastics only in color(different materials used).if this is to be a single din install,i suggest something much closer to the factory plastics to be used..hope this helps all of those thinking about taking that plunge into the aftermarket..good luck!
