I've tried searching around for simple (ish) solutions and would like to avoid butchering the original EMV or tearing open and soldering onto the board of the TV tuner.
There have been a few threads around that show an easy aux input for this model EMV but either the plug type is wrong or the pictures/pages don't load anymore
Basically, this is a 1994 SC400 converted from auto to manual, with factory EMV. Not sure what they did with wiring under the cup holder
Many threads say to look for a 6 pin plug under the cup holder but unfortunately the only plugs there are a 2 pin (bottom of the image) and this 10 pin, which has 1 pin missing, and 1 lead cut.
The shape of the plug and wire colours don't seem to match up with any wiring diagrams that I've found.
While it would be nice to transmit video to the EMV, ultimately all I want is a stereo audio input that I can then connect my phone to.
