Would you be able to swap the whole console unit from a 95-97 LS with a 99 Navigation system. would you need a special connector for the navigation to work or can you make a few adjustments. and do you know of anyone that has done this, if so please let me know so i can talk to him.........Thanks

 

the 98 to 2000 ls400 are prewired for the nav computer and the nav headunit evenn if not ordered when new. the 95 to 97 ls400 was not prewired so would be a monumental task to convert . the headunit would fit in the dash but all the wiring would have to be switched as well as the cd changer and the sound amplifier. bananags from this club has retrrofitted a 98 gs 400 with the 98 gs400 nav system and i am sure could do a 98 to 2000 ls400. but the 95 to 97 ls400 has not been done to my knowledge.
