Cannot get techstream to work
Hi Everyone,
This is my first post here and I'm sorry if this is the wrong thread to be posting this. I have searched google endlessly and was not able to find an answer to my issue.
First off, I have a 2003 Lexus GX470. I need to program a remote chip from a key i bought off ebay to be able to start my car. I installed techstream and bought the mini VCI cable. When i connected it to my car, it did not correctly recognize my exact vehicle and the VIN was blank. Not sure if this is an issue. After inputting my correct car model and info, I proceed to immobilizer. This is where I get stuck. From here, I'm supposed to click on utility but that option does not even appear on techstream. Does anyone know how I can register new key at this point?
If anyone can help me out, please let me know! I would really appreciate any help.
