Default May I get someones help, reference info on a 2014 Lexus IS 250

Looking for someone with a 2014 Lexus IS 250.

May I get someone to try this example.

Remote key sitting approximately 10-15 feet away with a wall as a barrier.
Attempt to use the push button start. I have been told this does not work, but I have been told it has. Was not able to find anything on the internet about it.

I did find where the key and car were separated, after vehicle had already been started with key inside the vehicle.
Once the vehicle left the key, the car became "jerky." Responding funny, performance issue.

Any and all help and info is greatly appreciated.

If this is not the proper forum, may I get directions to the proper place.

Thank you for any and all help.

you're able to start the car with the remote key present, once its started, remote key can be removed and car would still be running. it has nothing to do with performance with the key and remote seperated. its a different issue with your vehicle.
with the remote key away about 2 feet maybe able to start to car, if your lucky, any farther vehicle wont start.
if your remote battery is dead, you'll have to place your remote near the push start button and press it to start the vehicle.
