The lexus navigation system automatically switches to dark mode from a photosensor on the dash. Does anyone know how to bypass this sensor So the screen stays bright during the night?

i believe that's doable, kinda remember reading that part in the nav manual. it's towards the end of the manual

i think it is in the display menu, where you can adjust the brightness of the screen. i think there is a button to switch the display to daytime display, even when at night. i don't know if it is permanent or only for that particular trip.

also, i don't know if this feature is available on the older nav software.

good luck!
