Question need help resetting cd changer

I recently removed battery in order to change left turn signal bulb. Afterward, CD changer is dead. I read that there is a reset button on the modulator unit. A local shop said that unit could be anywhere between the trunk and the in-dash radio. I traced the blue cable from the trunk unit up to the dash, so I guess the modulator is somewhere behind the radio up in the upper console area. My question is: how do I access this area....how to remove the upper console parts to find this modulator to try to reset it and check fuses. If everytime the battery is disconnected this has to be done then this qualifies as a pain in the ***.
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for link....it took the fear of the unknown out of it. I dug into it this afternoon and found the modulator (it's an aftermarket Sony 10 disc changer) right under the radio. Unfortunaely, the reset button didn't get it going and I saw no fuses coming off modulator...so I guess it's time for a new changer. A local shop quoted $260 for a 6 disc Pioneer, installed. Does that sound ok?

Went to independent car audio shop and had problem diagnosed. It was just a fuse off of the modulator. It was in the dash under radio. Took about 45 min to get to, fix and put back together. Works great now. 20 bucks.
