GS4 Stock Amp Wiring HELP!!!!
A little Background...
I have a 00 GS4 with the Nav system. So far I installed:
1. 12" sub w/ JL Audio 500/1 - wired thru a LOC to the factory Amp signal
2. Diamond Hex S600S in front and Diamond M3351i in the rear doors powered w/ Alpine 65W 4 channel Amp. Wired thru LOCs to the factory Amps Signal
The problem:
The Diamond S600S in front have almost no mid bass in the range of 60 to 110 hz. The hole in this freq range is very apparent. As a matter of fact the little M3 (5.25 inch) in the rear doors reproduce the lower midbass frequencys better!
Questions:
I understand the factory Amp has a crossover built in. Is this true?
Are the crossover points the same for front doors and the rear?
At what frequency are these crossovers set?
Is it the Diamond S600Ss? Are they just not that responsive to midbass? I can move to the Dyns or the Focals.
Thanks

I have a 99 GS4 with Nav...BananaGS posted up a link on how to get to the Diagnostics menu. Follow it. When you get to the Diag. Menu, press and hold the AM button. That will bring you to the audio Diagnostics.
So far, from what I understand:
Press CD (I think???) and you'll get 3 options, F, R, W
The numbers turn down the settings, so, F 5 (for example) would mean you turned the front down by 5 (not sure of the units???). F5 R10 W0 means you turned the front down 5, the rear down 10 and you left the woofer alone.
If you press FM1/2 (I think??? Just press the audio switching buttons, you'll get selections) that allows you to select between P1, P2 and L.
I haven't played with L or P2, but I noticed if you bump P1 up to 5, there will be a drastic difference in bass response. In fact, it bumped up the sub so much I had to turn P1 down to 2. I set my F to 6 and my R to 8.
Anyways, you can play around with it. I believe P1, P2 and L are the crossover settings??????
Banana stated he had the service manuals, I wish he'd look into these.
Tim
Is this true about a separate speaker and burining the ecu? I'm using the factory headunit w/ LOCs to the amp? If so why?
Any more info in the P1P2 and L would be great. Are you sure that P1 and P2 and L are cross over points.
