Speakers popping/humming with phone pluggged in through a tape adapter
First off car is a 1992 SC300, stock radio. I'm using a tape adapter to hook up to my phone and play Rhaspody through the car stereo.
Anyways, I'm getting some sort of feedback from the phone signals through the pass side door speaker. It'll pop/hum at the beginning of songs pretty bad, it does it A LOT more with my new Samsung galaxy vs my old iphone. Very annoying.
Any idea on how to keep it from doing this? Radio sounds fine if I'm using the CD changer or regular radio. I'm thinking there is a loose/chafed wire that's letting the phone signal through into that one speaker.
Also would wiring in a permanent aux in to the stock headunit fix this problem?

I'll try plugging into the charger but I don't think that will help.
I don't think its alternator noise, isn't that a constant high pitched whine that goes up and down with engine revs??
Its more of an extremely loud/speaker damaging sort of pops and hums.
