Default Which components up front

I my 99 Gs300 I have two sets of components I will be installing. I have Polk audio dB 6.5 and some older diamond audio m6 components that have never been installed. Just wondering how I should stage them? I have ever a pioneer double din stereo and am looking for a good 4 channel amp. I know the Polk have more mid bass and people say the diamond audio components have good highs. Thank you in advance...

Arc audio amp has a good rep. As does Alpine pdx series. Even though I'm running JL audio I hear noise from the amp when sound it is turned down all the way. It powers the speakers great, effortlessly just don't know about cleanly.
Also I'd highly suggest investing in either an Audio control DSP or Helix. Both excellent and will bring out the beat in any speaker you decide to run.

Diamond audios up from with the Polks in the back. Adjust with a DSP and you'll have your music staged on your dash. A mini concert hall if you will.

Thank you. What's a dsp? Digital sound processor? Never used one what are the benefits.

Well I'll TRY.
From where you sit in the vehicle it will time align all the speakers to fire correctly as an image to one location in terms of height, distance and depth. The speakers in your door will be "lifted" to your dash. Seriously. Furthermore a DSP will adjust each component to proper HZ thus allowing a more immersive and natural sound experience.
Bottom line. You'll stop listening to your speakers and start hearing music. With a DSP your speakers should disappear.

Seeing little unicorns trot across your dash may happen while driving.

Nice gotta love unicorns. Thank you for the help. I picked this car up as my personal toy. I want to mod it but just enhance the luxury feel of it. I have to admit I'm very impressed with lexus and will be staying with them.

Got it installed and it sounds great. The stock sub blew out so I'm trying to decide between a free air sub or putting a box in the trunk.

Which DSP's have you used successfully?

I haven't bought a dsp yet but without the stock sub it still sounds amazing. It's lacking bass but the sound is clear once I turn it up past 10 to drown out that alternator whining. Sounds like a concert. I'm going to re ground and see if it helps. Once I add the sub I'll be very happy with the sound.

Mr503,

System goals? Ground pounding or accuracy? Budget?

I'd always recommend Dynaudio components above every other brand out there when it comes to accuracy.

Percy my goals are to have a clear sounding system with tight bass. My spl days are over so I'm leaning towards Sq I don't need to rattle Windows. As long as it sounds clean

Ultra clean and ultra accurate...Dynaudio Esotar 2 series. No holds barred. For good accuracy (which is quite exceptional), go with their slightly less expensive Dynaudio ESOTEC series. I've had the Dyn series in my car for over 17 years now. There still isn't a manufacturer for speakers out there that can come close to their neutrality.
