Has anyone had problems with their factory in-dash changer for the IS? Mine skips CDs like it would if they were scratched, sometimes it won't play and then on 2 occasions it would not work or eject the CD. I am planning a trip to the dealer but wanted to know if anyone else had problems with their unit?


Also has anyone blown a rear factory speaker besides me?

Ive had my CD changer changed twice at the deapership now.

 

replaced 3 times

 

The CD changer seems to have some trouble identifying some "burned" discs. It will try to load another disc into an occupied slot thinking that this space is vacant and a disc jam results.

 

That's messed up.... all others with this problem please reply as i want to know if the dealer is going to BS me and say it is an isolated problem. My remedy would be to give me a refund on the factory system. I would then gut that out and put a "real" system in it .

 

This is the first I've heard of this problem. I've had my '03 5spd for about 4 1/2 months and have no problems with it. I play burned CDs all the time....hmmm..
