CD Changer Problem....

CD Changer Problem....
My Nakamichi CD changer doesn't play CD's at all, It just like died last night. Power to the changer works and the changer loads the cartridge fine. When I get in the car, it reads "ERR" to every disc and won't play. What does all of this mean? Hopefully someone can help me out. BTW, it skips like a ***** too.
