Unhappy Where do I install my remote wire....

Hey guys I just installed my subs and amp today and I was woundering if there is any wire that i can splice into and connect my remote wire?? I have a 92 SC300 and I have my factory head unit, any suggestions?

any fuse in the block that comes on with the ignition. use a volt meter to determine which.

what would be a good fuse, also whats the best way of tapping off of it? (you know so it looks clean)
wouldnt tapping off of the main stereo power wire be good?

This is what I did...

Went to a local auto parts store and picked up a "Add-A-Circuit" kit and just plugged in to the radio 2 fuse. Works like a charm. The only thing that is a problem is now the fuse cap wont fit on but no biggy, its not in harms way under the steering wheel.

RADIO 2 FUSE????? does it matter what fuse to the radio? or how many amps it is?

DJ,

The proper way to "build" a blue amp turn on lead is to buy a turn on lead relay from PAC. They are cheap and simple, wire it up to where you are drawing your source signal from and it will relay a 12v amp turn on signal for you.
