i'm not sure if the car is still in your posession but i need you to do me a favor. Well i have a first gen gs300 that has a 2.5 din. i want to put in that exact same screen where my stock radio goes. i was wondering how wide is that screen including the plasic trim. on my car the narrowest point is 8 1/4 inches. so i believe that same screen should fit in my stock location because that 8 inch was measured diagnolly. my 8 1/4 was just mesured at the base of the stock head unit. I want to fill that area in really well because right now i have an aftermarket single din eclipse unit that looks soo tiny in there. btw, since this screen is always in 1 permananent position and you cannot adjust or tilt it like those flip out screens. i was wondering if the picture quality is still good from all angles and on sunny days. thats my only main concern and thing i am worried about or the deciding factor of me going with the flip out or the flush install.
