I've been using Valentine 1 sine the early 2000's-upgrading along the way. No regrets. In my BMW I have concealed it 100%. I made a dummy headrest for the back seat and mounted it inside. The remote vol and display are mounted in the front. Now I'm working on a solution for my ISF.

Currently have the Bel V995, but plan on getting the Escort Passport 8500 X50 Black or Valentine 1 in the future

That sounds like a really cool setup.

Thank you. Although it's not mounted up high like on the windshield, I haven't noticed a significant decrease in performance. I can put up a few pics if you like...

BEL STiR with Laser blocking, GPS updatable. Permanent install, nothing visible, hidden on off switch. I have one in my other car too. Works great.

It's already paid for itself by saving me from getting several tickets. My last 600+ mile trip I set the cruse control to 95 and kept it moving. I came across several cops and each time it gave me plenty of warning.
Ditto to everything he said. But I am using the Escort 9500ix which also utilizes GPS. It has saved my butt many times and gives plenty of warning. I have used 3 other detectors and have gotten tickets with all of them. Other detectors I have used, Cobra, Whisper..etc give you about 100-500 feet warning and by that time the cop already has you. If you plan on buying anything save your money and buy the escort 9500Xi or better models. It warns you of red light cameras and also automatically detects false alarms and stores it so they don't go off again.. BEST detector on the market in my opinion.

I have the k40 integrated kit and have no complaints. Saved me plenty of times. And it's an invisible setup except for 2 tiny blue lights.
