For all you Alpine Navigation owners, where did you guys install the navigation antenna? I currently have mine sitting on the passenger side of the dash up against the windshield but would like to move it to some where else that is not as noticeable. Can I mount the antenna at the top of the windshield where it is tinted? I will have to mount it upside down, will that affect performance?

 

It's important to use the provided small metal plate under the antenna. You probably can't mount the GPS antenna upside down as it needs to track the satellites. Center of the dash, up close to the window would be a good spot OR on your rear dash.
