93 sc400 CD PLAYER
I am original owner of my 93 sc400 and will probably be jinxed by addressing this topic but
my 12 cartridge cd player located in trunk is still working great. ...20 yrs.
I have heard that if the player goes out it can not be repaired. Can the trunk unit be removed
and sent to a competent audio repairman and fixed??
I can't imagine I can go much longer before I run out of luck.

I know this probably doesn't help but if your unit goes out, you could just find another one to plug n play BUT I'd take it as a sign to upgrade your stereo entirely. Get a double din unit or have someone install an auxilliary port in your head unit to plug in your IPOD if you wanted to stay stock-looking. Kinda like having a factory phone in there too. Cool for a minute unitl you realize technological upgrades have made it useless......
Who wants to carry around a book of CDs anyway??? G/L
