Sundown Audio SA-10D2 vs Sundown SD-2 10D2

Sundown Audio SA-10D2 vs Sundown SD-2 10D2
Background
I plan on replacing the OEM head unit in my LS400 with an aftermarket Double DIN from JVC and installing a pair of new subwoofers. Originally, I had bought a pair of 10" JBLs but quickly realized (upon them shipping, unfortunately) that I would be overpowering them a tad (150w each to be precise [they are 350w RMS]) so those are being sent back. Now I'm looking at Sundown Audio's lineup (after numerous forum posts of the success people have been having with them) and have come to a choice between their SD line and SA line. Now I'm torn between these two. The SA line is basically Sundown's best while the SD line is a shallower version of the SA line, but retains the SA line's cone, spider and surround, all while claiming to share a quality close to that of the SA line.
The Question
So, my question to you, Club Lexus, is which would be a better choice? The SD-2 10D2 is $149.99 shipped while the SA10-D2 comes out to $184.99 shipped. Is the SA10 really worth the extra $35? Or am I just better off picking up an SD2?

Miscellaneous Important Information
- Amplifier is rated for 1000w RMS and 2000w Peak @ 2 ohms - 500w RMS and 1000w Peak @ 4 ohms
- Enclosure is a pre-fab (don't have time/resources to go custom) sealed box made of 3/4" MDF with 0.77 ft^3 volume - one per subwoofer
- I will be ordering only one subwoofer now and the next one later on so the single subwoofer would be wired for 4 ohms while the pair would be wired at 2 ohms.
- If any other subwoofers are brought up, please keep it at 10" and dual 2 ohm and the budget is <$185
- The "sound" I'm going for is clean/hard with loudness potential.
- I listen to genres such as Trap, Dubstep, Electro, Trance with the occasional Metal so I'm not exactly looking for a general listening system, but something more in the direction bass-heavy music.

Either one will be great... It really depends on you bro. The SA line is amazing. I own three SA8v1 and they are handling 1000 watt peak day after day... The Voice Coil do get a little warm after a hard beat session, but after a ohm check the voice coils are good... I believe you will be allot happier with SAs, plus you can always re-cone them subs for CHEAP just to let you know...

Yeah, I'll upgrade to SA's later down the road. For now, I picked up a single SD-2 (planning on going dual when money comes in). (They're 10s) My main reason for choosing the SD-2s was since this is more of a family car/grocery-getter and a large sub box (in the corner) didn't really fit the bill. Thanks for the tip on the recone though!
