SC400 Head Unit/Auxiliary Input Capable
I have my head unit pulled out and I would like to not use my tape player anymore. Does anyone know how I would go about running an auxiliary input in it's place. Such as what wires I need to tap into, or if it will even work. I would like to be able to just hit the tape button and start playing my mp3 player. Please help!
Thanks,
Colin
P.S. My CD changer doesn't work and when I removed my cup holder there were four different wires that weren't hooked to anything. Some just cut off.
Thanks,
Colin

I tapped into the audio wires coming back from my (malfunctioning) CD Changer, and ran them to the dash where I have an iPod mount and interface cable. As long as the head unit lets you select the CD Changer (despite it not working correctly), then you can use those audio inputs as an AUX input for your iPod or other device. Works awesome. Several posts on this here in the past.
