Hi quick question. I have a 2006 is350. Is a lc2i really needed? Or is any line output converter okay? And I have a ML system. Do I have to remove the head unit at all to install subs?
It will help with the bass roll off at higher volumes, but if you cannot afford then I suggest the Audiomobile LDS2 / Cervin Vega IOEMHL
I have an 08 GS450h and cannot find the sub wire at the ML amp to disconnect. Can anyone verify which wires it is ?

I ran a dedicated power source from the battery. Added an extra fuse to the ignition on the passenger side. I then unplugged the ML sub and pulled the pos/neg wires out of the harness and ran that straight to the lc2i. Hooked up the amp and sub then cranked up the car and BAM! Adjusted the frequencies on the lc2i and amp and its golden. No issues at all and very straight forward.
I am currently running a Zed Minotaur with a IDQ10V2 in a BS little sealed square box. I found a molded 4080 box and waiting on my Hertz HX300. I really wish I didn't sell my Ultimo 12 now
On am 08 GS450h with ML, what wire and plug do I snip to cut power to the factory sub?
i have 2 12s going in the trunk and don't need the factory sub.
Also, if you're listing wires...do you mind confirming the wires needed for:
remote power, full pass feed for the LC2i, and sub power (to disconnect)?
thank you
