Default Levinson audio (replace the speakers?)

I also did some investigation on the audio system. I removed the back seats to check out the 8" sub. Although, it has a ML sticker on it this is a very lame speaker. I guessing that these are low dollar Harmon speakers with the ML badges. I posted earlier about upgrading the audio system. Anybody ventured into this?

Does anyone have the wiring diagrams for the audio.

Thanks,

Marty

I thought about replacing the sub but the ML sounds very good. It isn't as loud as the setup I had in my lx450(2 12in.) but the ML is very clean and the whole system matches well. If you do replace it keep us updated on how the new sub sounds.

I replaced the ML sub speaker with a JL audio free air sub, powered by a Xtant amplifier that accepted line level input from the existing amp. Added plus - the sub amp was hooked up to a separate volume control so that I could control the volume of the sub alone from the front. I had the control installed into the center compartment so it is invisible. Much stronger bass that I can push up for songs that need it, and tone down for songs that already have a strong bass line.
