Amps In The 91 Ls
I HAVE THE NACAMICHI SYSTEM(I KNOW I SPELLED THAT WRONG) AND I THINK MY TAPE DECK IS DRGGING A LITTLE SO I WANT TO REPLACE IT. DOES THE HEAD UNIT HAVE A INTERANL AMP OR ARE THERE EXTERNAL AMPS SOMEWHERE IN THE CAR? IF THERE ARE EXTERNAL WHERE ARE THEY LOCATED?

As far as everyone knows here there is an external amp in the trunk. Which means if you put a new deck in (just get a toyota 1992 and up wiring harness) you'll have to run new wires to the speakers.
I however just installed a new deck, and did not run new wires to the speakers. I just hooked up the deck to the wires already there. Sounds good, but the deck get's a little warm after a couple hours.
