Default Lowest car voltage

Just wondering what the lowest voltage a car power system can output is? i know it usually averages 13.8 - 14.4V but I know at lower charge times it comes down much more. Just wondering what the lowest is because I am planning to use a 12V low dropout voltage regulator which needs 12.5V to output a steady 12V

Thanks

There are many different factors that will effect output voltage, not all cars are exactly the same. You would need to measure you cars output voltage under maximum use conditions, AC, radio, headlights, foglights etc. all on. What are you using the regulator for?

I got as low as 12.3 with a brand new battery.
