Question New GS300

Hey gang,

First post here on the forums. After driving numerous cars and researching till I was blue in the face I have decided on the GS300. The best offer I have seen so far was $489 for a 48 month lease with 2K down. Add $60 more to the payment for Levinson and DVD. My question to the forum is this:

Are the Levinson and DVD really worth it or, would I be better looking for an aftermarket on both? I really want a top notch audio system but, they told me it would be like 5 months to have one custom made with the audio but without the DVD and that I could get one with Levinson/DVD in like 3 days. Any input is appreciated.

Why lease a new car and screw with the DVD and Audio issue, unless you want to put that coin out of pocket and maybe have more issues then having it direct from the factory.

As far as I know, you can't do anything aftermarket to the Lexus cars...it will void your contract on a lease with them...this is what I have been told by various dealers around the Chicago area, and by different car companies i.e. Benz, Jag etc.

Back up and give the good folks at www.theleaseoutlet.com a crack at the lease. They might be able to get you a better lease.

I had the same issue wanting Levinson but not GPS on the ES, just bite the bullet and get the GPS. Its the wave of the future so we might as well get used to it now

not sure if you plan to keep the car at the end of lease....on lease cars, i would keep them stock, esp on the audio stuff...so, opt for the ml/nav unit is what i would do
