I've read a couple of places that people can't play Audio DVD's on the ML system . Is this even partially true? Is anybody playing DVD-Audio discs while driving? Any problems?
The only problem that I have with playing DVD-As is finding enough of them to buy. I have no issue actually playing them or DTS discs. And they sound great!
Great news ! Too bad there are hardly any DVD Audio's out there. I was on the amazon.com site and ended up picking up Queen "A Night at the Opera" (should be getting GS300 this weekend) and a DVD Pink Floyd "Live at Pompeii." I'm not expecting the Floyd one to be in surround, but just to have that film in DVD quality is going to be amazing.
Have you found any DVD Audio's that really blew you away that you can recommend? I like all kinds of music.

DVD-Audio will play, but the surround experience is not as intense as say the Elliot Scheiner system in the Acuras. However, I love the ML power and would prefer to have that over the better surround in the Acura.

What kind of screen info do you get with a DVD-A playing. Does it show song name and artist info? What can be accessed while the car is in motion?
Is it any different other than the sound quality?

Fourplay's self-titled disc is really good if you like jazz and even though they've screwed around with the order of the tracks, The Eagles Hell Freezes Over is very well done (this is a DTS disc).
