Default Factory system

Is it a good idea to hook up after market component speakers to the factory amp or should i just re-do the whole system?

It's always a good idea to hook up an aftermarket amp.

agreed... aftermarket mids may put too much strain on the oem amp to reach the same listening levels as the oem speakers...

Not only that, when it comes to factory stereo systems, I always end up ripping them all out.
