has anyone done this simple mod yet.......instead of using the 6 dick magazine try the 12 disk one from panasonic, they are interchangeable...i'm going to try it sometime this weekend i'll keep everyone posted if anyone is interested.

 

How the heck are you going to slide that 12 disk magazine into that cd changer?

Im pretty sure it wont work, Im not familiar with the 12 disc panasonic, but I dont think they are even remotely similar?

Doubtful that the 12-disk mag would work at all - the changer has to be able to deal with a different set of spacings, which it is not designed for. It is set up mechanically for the spacings of the 6-disk mag. It would be a real longshot if it worked, even if you could fit it in.

 

6 disk magazine....wouldn't a 12 disk magazine be double the size? i don't think the changer has that clearence.

 

i guess i didnt think that one out......i'm soo upset about my changer going out...i'm desparate..but thanx for setting me straight...
