You must use one of your master key (black-with the remote if possible). With the master key turn to ignition position and push gas completly to ground 5x then push brake 6x. Next pull key out and withen 5 seconds turn unprgmd. key to ignition positon and push gas pedal 1x to the floor. Wait aprox. 1-2 min. in this postion and when theft light stops flashing the key is progmd.

Hi, thanks for the info, I will try tonight. Just to verify, you mentioned to turn ignition to on position only withour cranking the engine or does the engine needs to be on. Please advise

Thanks

This will work on any toyota that has a transponder key. Yes it will work on your 00 gs. When programming you need to turn to ignition with out starting. Sometimes it takes a couple of times to programm. The only key is you must use one of the master keys in the 1st step, it cant be the gray valet key.

Don't forget, you still need to program the remote functions as well.

Just got a re-blade remote key (used) for my IS for $85. The guy was really cool and service was amazing. His email is wolftng@hotmail.com.

I lost one of my 2 remote keys and needed to get a replacement just in case. The local dealer wanted $170+tax. The sponsor dealer within club lexus wanted $150+. eBay was selling them (blank blade) for $70+ (and u have to find a local lock smith that can cut it for u). This guy (Wayne) was so easy to deal with that I just sent him 2 pictures of my key and he was able to cut a key for me. No hassle!

Wayne knows how to program all of the keys too. He sent along a very detailed instruction.
