swing it all depends on what your looking for, do you want alot of bass or do you want it to be accurate and are looking for a sq setup either way I would go with the eclipses just because I dont like JL and I think the W7 is overpriced and over rated, if you want a good deal on the eclipses check out www.buyloud.com so far I havent seen anyone match there prices, just make sure you e-mail them and ask if they have them in stock or not, since I had a problem with that the last time I bought the woofers from them but they redeemed themselves ( they almost gave me 12" eclipse 88 series sub for $209 a peice!!! ).

oh and the reason I hate JL is because I baught a JL 15W6 a while back and ran it with a zapco 750 ag, the first five minutes the sub was playing it ripped about 4 inchs, so they put a new one in and the same thing happend, so they changed it to a IDQ 15 and it took the zapco like a champ

SQ is on par with the best of them...waaay better then OK. Although I preffer IDMAX sound, I can not deny that W7 is up there also.
