got a gs430, looking to add some thump to my trunk, single sub like the title says. Does anyone have any suggestions or pics of their setups, trying to get some ideas on what I can do. Thinking about jlw6 or Edesigns 13Ov2, looking for something that has nice tight bass, sql. gimme a hand fellas.

 

Look at IDQ subs. Google them if needed.

If you want a single sub, I've always liked the JL 12w6, Digital designs, or even RE Audio.

 

The JL W6 (V2) is a great sub as long as you can get a good deal on it - otherwise its a bit overpriced. I concur with the IDQ choice - great bang for the buck thats for sure !

Next question: Do you want great sound quality, ****-shaking SPL or a little of both? Also, what type of music do you listen to?

 

If you are on a budget, check out the Image Dynamics IDv.3 (as opposed to the IDQ), Some of the best subs for the money.

If you are not on a budget however, you can't go wrong with the IDMAX
