Default tire pressure monitoring system help.

hey all, i have a 2007 ES350. car came equipped with tpms. i want to get some more info on them. i recently bought new rims for the car and i didnt not want to go into my stockies and pull the sensors out in case of an unfortunate event that i have to use my stockies.

im looking for more info on tpms, how they work, different models, which ones do i have... etc. etc.

also, want to know where's the best place to buy tpms for my car and where do i go to get them programed(if i need to at all)

any feedback is welcomed. Thanks!

new sensors will run you roughly 200 bucks. you can do reasonably 1 of 4 things.
1) take them out and mount them in your new wheels
2) take them out and mount in your spare
3) take them out and make a pipe bomb
4) Buy a second set and have the programmed at a local lexus dealer.
