next step: 2gs arm rest sub port?
to me even with the cover on it looks terrible

Yeah I seen that one. It's not gonna look like that though haha he has 1 w7 facing the arm rest. I'm just gonna leave my box the way it is, facing the trunk, and cut the arm rest. I wanna see how big of a difference In bass it'll make
when do you plan on doing this? i really want to see this in person and also to hear it, i want to cut it out also.where in norcal are you located?im in the eastside of san jose...you anywhere near there?our cars are a little similar.
1SWTGS, it doesn't significantly reduce structural integrity of the rear deck to remove that center brace that sits in the middle of the armrest, does it? I wouldn't think it would be that noticeable or significant but wondered if you had any observations.
I'm planning on firing my sub through the stock sub hole but I've been playing around with the idea of going ported and firing aeroports behind the armrest. (sealed off as well as possible from the trunk).
I'd plan on leaving the leather behind the armrest to keep the factory look but going through the sound deadening. I don't see how that leather would make a difference or how difficult it would be to seal the factory deadening to everything. Haven't thought the idea through fully but it's something I've been toying with in my head.
