I have a 2001 RX 300. In january 09 I installed an aftermarket sub. I did this by cutting out the stock sub, grabbing the signal from that. Putting it through a hi to low converter etc. I got this sub working and my sound system was working fine and great until this month (April 09). Today, I realized that my speakers are producing no sound, however the sub is still bumping. That is, the speakers in the door are producing no sound but the sub is still producing sound. I cannot make sense of this. The display unit is working fine and it must be sending out some sort of signal since the sub is still pushing. I checked the fuses under the hood and behind the coin holder and they were all in tact. Has anyone else had an issue like this.
