hey newb here! wondering if you guys noticed this on your ml radios?i have a 01 gs300 with a ml radio whats weird is that when im coming t o a stop the radio seems to bring the volume lower and when i take off and hit around 30-40 mph the volume goes back to where i had in the first place.Wondering if thats normal or some kind of feature ml has on their radios or am i hearing things?
I believe that is the Automatic Sound Levelizer (ASL) working. It takes road noise into account and modulates the volume accordingly. I think it can be turned off.
No. If you have nav it's on the "Audio" screen where it says ASL. but If you don't have Nav, you'll have to find out from someone else because I don't know.
