i have a question about my wireless remote. when i lock my car no lights on the outside or beep goes off. is it like this for everycar? and is there a way to program the lights to flicker or something when i lock and unluck my car? thanks

 

mines does the same thing. all it does is lock and unlocks the doors..other than that, you might want to get an aftermarket alarm.

 

Yea my factory alarm did the same thing. I would have to listen for the door lock to confirm it locked/unlocked. I ended up going with an aftermarket alarm.

 

What year and kind of car do you have? I have a 2005 SC 430 and my car beeps and lights flash when I lock or unlock the car using the remote.

 

Most likely a pre-95 SC.
