2004 ES330 Nav Voice Help!
Anyway, my question is if I replace Amp, Audio shop can take of the pin connectors? The voice guidance will come out?
I saw someone replaced Amp for the voice guidance http://www.siennaclub.org/forum/inde...howtopic=11025
Thank you.
the ohm output of the mark amps is 8 ohm door /16 ohm subs so either the amp or the speakers will blow by putting mark amp in a pioneer amped system. also theres no way to put the big mark amp anywhere behind the dash. the 2002 to 2006 es330 mark levinson system has wiring running to the trunk where the amp isnt heating up the dash area which already has 10 or 15 ecus jammed into it.
so your solution is the factory mono channel voice amp made for the es330 . no one seems to know that this amp exists as its not even listed by any salvage yard online lists. i recerntly ordred one from my lexus dealer for one of the lexus retrofit navigation systems i do(over 50 of them of all lexus models so far)seems lexus usa parts never had a call for one before and they had to order it from lexus japan. took over a month to get here. once installed with a custom made harness. it sounded great to hear the lexus nav lady say "voice guidance will be at this volume" when i pushed the volume screen button.
the es330 is only lexus model that had to have a seperate voice guidance amp as all the 2 piece units berfore 2006 2007 5th genration had the voice amp in the gps computer but since the es330 went to the 1 piece nav in 2004 it had to have the seperate voice amp as the mark levinson amps wernt voice guidance ready . the 2005 up toyota jbl amps put out voice guidance but are only 2 ohms to the speakers.
