Bypass amp in 99 sc300?
I have serached but no one seems to know. The 99 sc300 with 6 cd in trunk has one amp. The Pioneer CD player seems to be integrated with the amp (according to my schematics).
Can I bypass the amp for aftermarket one? Can I use the speaker connections (and others like power) coming FROM the radio BEFORE the amp? Will the CD player still work?
If not, I will use speaker wires AFTER the amp.

I dont believe the pioneer units are integrated with the changer. (though I am not 100% certain as I am more familiar with the Nak units)
You can get the signal from the harness in the trunk and splice in RCA's directly to an aftermarket amp (if signal is low level) (or use line output converter).
