Default Nakamichi amp?

Hello everyone. I think I just blew my amp on my 1994 LS.the head unit powers up and everything seems to be working except all I get is a popping noise out of the speakers. The same volume popping no matter what the volume is set to.Is there someone that repairs these amps or am I better off buying a used amp somewhere? everything else was working fine until this happened. even the cd changer works so I dont want to gut the dash and put some crappy looking aftermarket in it if I can help it.Also what years does this amp fit? Any advice? thanks

I'm not sure the amp is separate from the head unit, the amp in the trunk is for the woofer. I found something one time how someone fixed theirs.

Found it

I just checked for power and output on my amp. It is definitely in the trunk right above the cd changer. All wiring looks fine. I unplug the amp and the popping noise went away so I pretty sure its a blown amp. I just need to find one now.

In case anyone runs into this problem i figure I would follow up. It was the amp that was bad and the only one I could find was on ebay. All is well now again. If anyone runs across someone who can fix these let me know. I still have the old one.

In the trunk on top of the cd changer. Right side. When I was looking I found like 3 different amps that it could have been with the nak. I had to match the numbers and then check the plugs were the same.
