Question Navigation loses location

I have a 2006 IS350 and in November I was using my GPS and all of a sudden it was tracking out in the middle of no where parallel to my acutal location. We acessed the set up and reset the location and moved on. It happened again around January. Now it is happening most every time I start my car. Today it is showing me in a town about 2 hours from here that I did drive through over the weekend???? Very strange. Does anyone know why the GPS keeps losing my location? It does copy how I am moving, but not in the correct location on the map. Thanks.

There is a TSIB available to correct this issue. Basically, it involves replacing the NAV DVD, which has updated software. Go see your local dealership, and explain the issue, they should have no problem taking care of it for you.

Thank you. I have been trying to get through to the service department and waiting for a call back. Figured I would try the forum in case it was something we could take care of ourselves. I did bring up the software on my last visit, but they did not really offer any insight. Now that I know there is a TSIB I can go in better informed.

The TSIB number is EL013-06. Now you're ultimately informed
