I just got my SC300 and wish to remove the car phone holder that is inside the center consol. However, I can't get to the screws that hold it in. Does anyone know how to do this. I am a semi handy-man and cannot figure it out. I tried to remove the black shell first but the holder is over one of the screws that holds it in. Any suggestions on how to do this,

I just pulled the factory cell out of my 93 300. The black box is removed by unscrewing the two phillips next to the lid hinge (the lid is attached to the box and it all comes out together).

then you remove the 3 10mm bolts in the bottom of the black box (these are under a black felt which covers the bottom of the box.

I pulled the whole box unit out and removed the phone parts. By unplugging everything from the control unit under the seat, I was able to easily pull the harnesses out. post again if you need help.
