Default Glove Compartment/Car Phone Help

Hey guys i'm new here and I was just writing to say hi and ask for some help. I recently got my dad's '98 GS400 handed down to me, and back when he got it he decided to have a carphone installed. Considering that it hasn't been used in about 7 or 8 years and it really isn't all that attractive, I wanted to remove it. The only problem that I have is that it is somehow attached or anchored behind the glove compartment and I'm not exactly sure how I can access it, I've been searching for ways to take down the glove compartment myself I have yet to actually try it, but if I could get any help with that it would be great.

Thanks,
Jmanuel

P.S.
If I have to i'll take it to a company to get it removed but I just wanted to see if there was any way for me to do it myself.

You need to pull out the bottom panel that has the foot light on it , It is clipped in and will pull easily out towards your knees. This will expose 2 x 10mm bolts. Remove these bolts and also remove the 3 x black screws at the top of the glovebox moulding.

The glovebox will be now free to be pulled out towards you. It may be stiff at first but it will come out.
