I just bought my son a 94 ES300 that does not have a CD player, I want to also install his amp and sub from his old car, I was considering the following
1. Find stock 6 disc from another Lex (can it be put in car), hook up amp.
2. Buy a new stereo with cd that already has RCA jacks to hook up amp.
We are on a limited budget but I want to do it right and not be bobo.

Thanks.

i'd get a new cd head unit. you could hook up a factory changer, but there's no telling how long it will work, nor would you be able to tell how long the stock head unit will last.
get a decent head unit for a couple hundred bucks, and then hook up amp from there.
