Default Eclipse BYPASS LOCKOUT

First question: is there a lockout on the Eclipse AVN nav units like the Pioneer units so you can't enter route changes while moving? Second question: Does anyone know the bypass procedure/pinout? I know there is lots of info on the Pioneer nav units.

thanks and Merry Christmas.

Yes there is. My understanding is you can ground the wire that goes to the parking brake sensor pretty easily and the lockout is gone.

ground the parking brake wire....i think that's about 7 fewer steps than the average pioneer
