I have an 2nd gen gs,and i dont know wher ei should wire my amp's signal wire. I had it wired to the cig ligher but it kept blowing the fuse.

Can i splice it into the stock amps signal wire, im assuming its the blue cord with white stripe?

 

im not sure if i understand the question but if u have a after market amp, and u need the amp to turn on when u turn on the aftermarket radio then yes u wire it to ur blue wire off the radio some radios have a dark blue, and a blue/white wire which just for cars with power antenas (like when ur just listening to the radio), and the other is for aftermarket amps. hope this answers ur question.
