I have an IS 300 factory cd and tape player and recently the cd player doesnt work any more. I get error 3 and wont eject or insert cds any more.
I researched on these and found that it is common for these cd players to not work well.
Anyways i brought to lexus dealer and they said they had a guy that replaces the mecanism or someting like that for 100 buks. I would have done it but i was out of town and went back home without doing it.

My question is I took out my factory cd player out of my car and tried to unjam the cds and when i put it back in my car the eject button does not light up anymore nor does it work. was just wondering if i wrecked something in the cd player or does it just need a new part.

Any advise would be greatly appriciatied.
